Think some nasty Georgian vandals set fire to part of the Fortingall Yew, the next door Arts and Crafts Fortingall Hotel is pretty chic too.

It sounds like you’ve got some very admirable interests – I’d love to include you as a pen-pal in my Friends section, I’ll email your PA with the best way to get a photo to me. Are you on Twitter? If so let me know and I’ll follow you there too. I’ve never been to Norwich, but next time I’m in that area I’ll swing by the town hall and strike a pose. There’s actually a number of good Deco town halls around the country I’ve been thinking about posing at – perhaps I’ll start a new section, or you could even start a new site: Dog, Deco and Arts & Crafts Town Halls and Gardens (name would probably need to have a snappier ring to it)…

What an absolutely brilliant site! I was browsing for pictures for a possible Deco show garden and came upon your site. I must say you look pretty cool and I would like to appear on your friends page, although we could never be real friends because I also hate other dogs. But we have much in common – I am an oversized (not fat mind you, not at all fat, just bigger than normal) Westie of advancing years, enjoy the odd rabbit/pheasant/cat chase, Deco and Arts % Crafts, Hole-Digging and most of the less refined dog activities. I can provide you with a cracking pic but just don’t know how to send it to you. Anyway, keep up the good work – I often pose outside Norwich Town Hall, have you modelled there yet? It is not a particularly attractive piece of Deco, more Grim than Great Gatsby, but Deco nevertheless.
