Aladdin factory, Western Ave, Greenford – architect unknown – date unknown
I’m afraid that since they closed down the B&Q superstore that used to trade in the factory building I can’t get close to it, so had to pose on the footbridge over the A40.

aladdin factory opened in 1931 it made oil lamps and heaters wicks incandescent mantles.it shut 1982. the greenford plant was just one plant of many all over the world

i am writing a short history of aladdin greenford and put net later im yesr. Aladdin invented the barometric fuse used the R.A.F during
my dad used to work there – when will u be publishing the short history?
